It was great to get over to Rotterdam, in Holland, from 29 September to 1 October.

While in Rotterdam I visited the new Markthal and chatted to the architect Winy Maas.

A feature on my visit was published on ABTA Magazines’s countrybycountry.com website a week after my return. You can see my feature here, Meandering Through The Markthal.

I wrote a more general feature about Rotterdam for The Huffington Post, A Look at the Architecture of Rotterdam.

On go-eat-do.com I published an interview with Sebastiaan van Bokkel, the maker of Bobby’s Dry Gin, who explained the key difference between jenever and gin. You can read it here, Learning the difference between jenever and gin in Rotterdam

You can find a number of my photos from the trip on the Rex Features website.

The past few weeks have been busy and rewarding.

Over recent weeks I’ve travelled back to Hamburg in Germany, where I visited the city’s Christmas markets, including Santa Pauli and the Roncalli Christmas market. I’ve written for a newspaper on the back of that trip too. A number of food and drink stories will also be published as a result of that trip.

My trip the to the Netherlands in November resulted in a number of stories, including reviews of the art’otel amsterdam,  Citizen M Hotel and Eye Film Institute Netherlands.

I’ve also been to Warkworth in Northumberland and London, where I visited the new Le Secret des Rotisseurs restaurant at Canary Wharf.

On 26 December I photographed at Sunderland’s annual Boxing Day Dip, images that are available via Rex Features and Alamy.

I look to having more work published in the weeks ahead.
